Solano Ave. Update

BACLT is proud to announce our newest property addition: Solano Ave. The long-term tenants there were facing an Ellis Act eviction, they organized and contacted Berkeley City Council, who then contacted us, and together in 2022 we all worked to save and purchase the building. Solano Ave. is now permanently affordable housing instead of more luxury condos. It is currently an affordable rental building, with 13 total units. It is in process to become a self-managing co-operative (usually takes 2 years). Thank you everyone for your dedication and support to make this happen! At this time, all vacancies are spoken for.
