Hibiscus Commons

Hibiscus Commons is an organization dedicated to creating a cooperative model of housing for a diverse community of elders.

Our model of senior living will provide long-term, low cost housing to people 55 and over.

Through self-governance we will support engagement and growth, while maintaining independence and dignity. As a project of the Bay Area Community Land Trust, Hibiscus Commons is working to find and secure funding for our permanent housing. Ours is a creative model for living and aging together in an intentional community.

We are currently looking for interested people to help grow our cooperative senior living project.
